about you
name: Amy
age: 22
location: SouthWest England
hobbies: Reading, shopping, painting, sewing, doing weird things to my hair, going to gig, smoking, board games (Scrabble in particular), knitting etc.
top five favorite bands: The Smiths, Joy Division, Le Tigre, Sleater-Kinney and New Order

about your reading habits
top five favorite authors: Douglas Coupland, Ben Elton, Chuck Palanhiuk, Alex Garland, Noam Chomsky
top ten favorite books: 'Survivor' and 'Lullaby' by Chuck Palanhiuk, 'Hey, Nostrodamus!' and 'Girlfriend in a Coma' by Douglas Coupland, 'Dead Famous' and 'Popcorn' by Ben Elton, 'The Time Traveller's Wife' by Audrey Niffenegger, 'The Beach' by Alex Garland, 'Little Women' by Louisa M. Allcott, 'The Speed Queen' by Stuart O'Nan,
your guilty pleasure reading: The Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evananovich. Totally addicted. Also, The Flowers in the Attic series by Virginia Andrews. Gotta love that incest theme. Oh, and of course, the Harry Potter books. Of course, I don't feel guilty about any of these, that's probably the most shameful thing of all!
most overrated book(s), in your opinion: Hmm, probably The Perks Of Being A Wallflower (nice, but nothing special) and of course, The Da Vinci Code. I found it distinctly unsatisfying.
your favorite books/authors as a kid: Harper Lee, Enid Blyton, Roald Dahl.

post some pictures of you. no less than 2, no more than 8:

auto-accepted.

OH MY GOSH, I love Douglas Coupland with such a passion...you're the first person I've heard of who has read him too (that wasn't turned on to him by me, anyway)!! Girlfriend In A Coma is one of my favorite books ever.

welcome!
