Rock 'n' Roll Book Club!
location: New Jersey.
hobbies: Reading, cooking, drawing, watching movies, and dancing when nobody is watching.
top five favorite bands: Iron Maiden, X, The Vibrators, The Rolling Stones, and Chuck Berry is pretty badass too.
about your reading habits
top five favorite authors: Chuck Palahniuk, Charles Dickens, Philip K. Dick, Ernest Hemingway, C.S. Lewis.
top ten favorite books: A Farewell To Arms by Hemingway, A Tale of Two Cities by Dickens, Paradise Lost by John Milton, Oliver Twist by Dickens, The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty by Anne Rice (though it's written under a different name), Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick, The Masque of the Red Death by Poe, Hills Like White Elephants by Hemingway (it's not really a book, but a short story, does that count?), Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk. I happen to like a lot of the classics.
your guilty pleasure reading: I don't have any guilty pleasures. I'll admit to reading anything, but I guess I can go with Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty trilogy. It's an erotic/adult fairy-tale.
most overrated book(s), in your opinion: Honestly, Harry Potter; I get a lot of crap for saying that. I think J.K. Rowling is an amazing writer, yes, but I don't see what the hype is about those books. I was just never able to get into them.
your favorite books/authors as a kid: Where The Wild Things Are, and those Spot books if anyone knows what I'm talking about.
promote the community to three people and link us here: I don't think anyone I know would be interested in this community, so I put a link up in my userinfo instead. I'll promote it in one of my entries too, if you want me to.
post some pictures of you. no less than 2, no more than 8:
